With our flexible stakings plans, you can exit from your staking position anytime with no lock-up periods for most assets. Most importantly, the crypto you stake never leaves our cold wallets, so you can rest assured that your staked assets are stored securely.
Currently, BitBit Financial Inc. offers staking for Ethereum (ETH), Polkadot (DOT), Cardano (ADA), Terra (LUNA), The Graph (GRT) and Polygon (MATIC). Stay tuned as we’re planning to make more digital assets available for staking as we add more proof of stake coins to our trading platform.
Our APYs vary from asset to asset and initially range from 4.8% to 12%.
Staking rewards are redeemed automatically at regular intervals and transferred to your crypto wallet(s). Reward payout frequency varies by asset. DOT, ADA, LUNA and MATIC are paid out daily, while ETH and GRT are weekly. Once your staking plan is confirmed, there is a bonding period which also varies by asset. This means you’ll need to wait anywhere between 1-3 days from the time your staking subscription is set up to start earning rewards.
Depending on the staking plan you choose, you’ll have the ability to unstake your DOT, ADA, LUNA, GRT and MATIC assets immediately. Each staking plan has an “unstaking period”, which refers to the time between when a user chooses to unstake and when the assets are returned back. Please note that ETH and ETH staking rewards will be locked until the completion of the Ethereum 2.0 network transition. The transition may need months and BitBit Financial Inc. has no control over this process.
First, login to your BitBit Financial Inc. web account, and access your “Staking” dashboard from the left-side panel. From here you’ll be able to see your assets available to stake. Simply click “Stake” for each asset you’d like to stake, agree to the user disclaimer, and then choose a staking plan. Insert the amount to stake and click Continue to set up your staking subscription. We also make it easy to ‘Add Funds’ to any asset to stake, and the ability to ‘Unstake’ your DOT, ADA, LUNA, GRT and MATIC at any time.
